NEVER GIVE UP

"NEVER GIVE UP"

Never give up!
To the unbeatable foe
And unconquerable woe
That you meet in a battle.

Never give up!
To the continuing miseries
And overflowing anxieties
That you experience as you live.

Never give up!
To the ceaseless difficulties
And restless sacrifices
That you suffer along the way.

Never give up!
to the fruitless action
And impossible ambition
That you take across the miles.

Never give up!
To the copious sadness
And plenteous greediness
That you encounter in your surrounding.

Never give up!
To the destructive criticism
And sensitive sarcasm
That you hear from your enemies.

IN THE SEA

"IN THE SOUNDING SEA"

Once upon a midnight,
When the moonlight was bright.
As I walked in the seashore,
The wind invited me to play,
Above and below the sounding sea.
At first, I was not sure,
To heed the wind's call.

At last, I respond to him,
And I go with him.
Above and below the sounding sea,
Flying like a bee,
Swimming like a fish.
Singing and dancing with the whales,
Playing and laughing with fishes.

I view with so much wonder,
The power of the Maker,
Of these things fantastic,
And made it realistic,
To witness the sounding sea,
For me an ordinary,
Of this work exemplary.

SCRIPTURES

         "SCRIPTURES"

Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet,
And a light unto my path.
I keep my solemn promise,
To obey your commandments.

People are no more enduring than grass.
Grass withers and flowers fade,
But the Word of God endures forever.

Your Word, O Lord, will last forever,
It is eternal in heaven.
If your law is not the source of our joy,
We will die from our sufferings.

We will never neglect your commandments.
Because by them you have kept us alive.
We will meditate on your law.

The Word of God is alive and active,
Sharper than two-edged sword.
It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet,
To where joints and marrow come together.

Everything written in the Scriptures,
Was written to teach us,
In order that we might have hope,
Through the patience and encouragement,
Which the Scriptures give us.

FRIENDSHIP

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is like an eagle’s wings,
That carries one another to the highest mountain.
Flies to the shining and rising sun,
That above all landscape and native land.
Soars beyond imagination and dream,
That has no more frustration and problem.

Friendship is like a boat and ship,
That brings and keeps both safe,
To a journey of formidable ocean,
Where the monstrous sharks and fishes shun,
And goes to the deepest of the sea,
Where no one can able us to see.

Friendship is like a lamplight,
That brightens the awful night,
Of this disastrous and penurious life.
It finds and views hope for the sight,
To walk through the path and footsteps right,
And to make the darkest hour’s bright.

Friendship is like a book,
That the scholars read and look.
It secures divine knowledge and wisdom,
To refrain from lonesome and boredom.
It endows intelligent information,
And bestows brilliant education.

Friendship is like a tree,
That supplies fruits for free.
It gives shade to the lowly,
And provides a resting place to stay.
It protects from the heat of the sunlight,
To remain calm and might.

How wonderful is the friendship?
Of these great characteristics,
Of a real and selfless friendship,
Even for death, it’s willing to take risk,
For this unfathomable relationship,
Of such an endless and deathless friendship.
